Insta360's New Action Cameras: Ace and Ace Pro

The Ace and Ace Pro have similar designs, with a rectangular body and a 2.4-inch flip-out touchscreen. Both cameras are water resistant up to 10 meters, but can be upgraded to 60 meters with an optional Dive Kit. They also feature a magnetic mounting system for easy accessory configuration.

The Ace Pro, developed in partnership with Leica, features Leica sensors with a 16-millimeter focal length. The Ace has a ½-inch sensor with f/2.4 aperture, while the Ace Pro has a Leica 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/2.6 aperture. The Ace shoots at 6K at 30 fps, while the Ace Pro shoots at a cinematic 8K at 24 fps. Both cameras support 4K at 120 fps.

Other features include slow motion video capture, starlapse, timeshift, and customizable settings. The cameras also have a 48-megapixel camera for capturing static images, as well as gesture and voice control functionality.

The Ace and Ace Pro have different batteries. The Ace has a 1,700mAh battery with 15W fast charging, while the Ace Pro has a 1,650mAh battery with 30W fast charging.
